God is the only solution possible
According to the situation prevailing in Kenya right now, there is no way for us christians to keep quiet without saying a thing. Of course, this is a case we have already handed over to the Lord.
Word of Peace and Reconciliation Ministries Network is not a political organisation but a Christian one. Therefore the word of God is a lamp on our feet: « Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105
It is our duty to intervene with the word of God when peace is in trouble especially in Africa. The word of God recommend following words: « Do you indeed speak righteousness, you silent ones? Do you judge uprightly, you sons of men?” Psalm 58:1-2
Maybe new elections could be the solution.
As we can see, the situation becomes day after day complicated because of the reaction of the people. Our request to everyone is to pray for a peaceful solution in Kenya. The cancelling of the results of December 2007 could be probably the best solution. There is a need to organize new elections in order to know to whom belongs the power between the two major candidates. Negotiations may go on but without the Spirit of Peace further difficulties will be hard to escape. Without the Spirit of Peace new elections would be useless. Let us pray for wisdom so that the will of God can happen in Kenya.

Word of Peace and reconciliation Ministries Network calls all Kenyans and Africans especially those who live over there to do everything possible to stop killings in this country. After all it is a personal decision and peace depends of everyone. Anyway the word of God urges us following words: “Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.” Psalm 34:14
The best advice I’d like to give to all who are involved in a way or another in the situation in Kenya is to stop killings: Stop the war in your heart, reject hatred. Without forgiveness there will be no peace in Kenya. The real forgiveness can only be possible through our Lord Jesus. He is the Master of Forgiveness (Isaiah 53:3-5).
Remember the word of God says:
« Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9
Word of Peace and Reconciliation Ministries Network joins totally the prayers for peace in Kenya.
